In recent years he has settled in Milan, dividing his time between the metropolis of northern Italy and his native Campania. A painter and ceramist, he works across a wide range of media and techniques. He combines everyday objects to create paintings, constructions, and complex installations. His allegorical works, with their strong scenographic character, balance between presence and absence\u2014or more broadly, life and death\u2014expressed through a poetic visual language. An active figure in the contemporary Italian art scene, he has presented numerous solo exhibitions and participated in many group shows.
