She was a professor at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ni\u0161. After her premature death, the University established an annual award for small-scale drawings in her name. A painter who later also worked on large, wall-mounted constructions, she placed the human figure at the center of her art. Ghostly, impersonal, stylized, her figures were dark silhouettes bearing universal human traits. The central figure of her compositions was the mother\u2014her works often carried a strong autobiographical dimension. Stylistically, her painting essentially drew from Expressionism. Stylization, distortion, simplification of space, and the use of strong, pure colors characterized her early works. Her later cycles of works incorporated various materials (metal, fabric, thread), though painting always remained dominant. As their titles suggest (Pebbles, Masks, Moonlight Stories, Shadow Theater, etc.), these series form allegorical testimonies of hidden emotions that are at once personal and universal. She held solo exhibitions in Serbia (such as \u201fPaintings and Objects\u201d at the Art Hall of \u010ca\u010dak Cultural Center in 2014) and abroad, and participated in many group shows. In 2015 a retrospective exhibition was organized in her memory at the \u201cSrbija\u201d Gallery, curated by her husband, Stanisa, and their daughter, Magda.
