She received her postgraduate degree in painting from the same school in 1994. In 2003 she was elected Assistant Professor of Drawing and Painting at the Faculty of Arts, University of Ni\u0161, where since 2013 she has been a full Professor. Her themes are mainly nature (landscape and plant life) and the human figure. Her work is figurative but not realist. She draws on symbolism, while her use of color is expressionistic and her approach abstract. She seeks primarily to create a web of successive layers which together construct a new visual reality. In this way, the pictorial surface becomes a fertile, ever-changing field of visual stimuli. In her recent works she also incorporates prints and photographs, experimenting with different surfaces using original approaches. She is one of the most important contemporary Serbian visual artists with continuous international presence. She has presented her work in solo exhibitions in Serbia and abroad (Bulgaria, Italy, Spain, Turkey, etc.). Her first solo show was held in 1993 at the Gallery of Contemporary Art in Ni\u0161, while one of her most recent, \u201fWater Surfaces,\u201d took place at the Gallery of the Faculty of Fine Arts in Kosovska Mitrovica (Kosovo, 2022). Her works have also been included in over two hundred group exhibitions in Serbia and abroad.
